The 4Life International Group (“4Life”) is an innovative group of direct to consumer insurance distribution companies all of whom share a common commitment to excellence.
Our customer focused business model, which has generated more than 5 million policies, began in South Africa in the late 1980’s and later successfully introduced to the USA, UK and Australia over three decades before expanding to Europe. Since 2008, 4Life has been a provider of simplified and guaranteed insurance options on behalf of carefully selected insurance companies in a number of European countries. More than two million people, both young and old have been served in this short space of time.

The men and women who lead 4Life are dedicated, experienced and forward-thinking. We come from all backgrounds and walks-of-life

John is a graduate of Stellenbosch University and the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has many years’ experience of working in the financial services sector in the United Kingdom including Credit Suisse Investment Bank and, for the last 10 years, at the global insurance broker Willis. At Willis his roles included leading a successful international change programme, Deputy Group FP&A Director and CFO Global Transport. He has years of experience communicating across international businesses with various stakeholders including boards, investors, bankers and regulators. John is currently the Managing Director of 4Life Direct International and is responsible for leading the company strategy while managing the day-to-day running of the business.

Bruce is a graduate of Rhodes University, the University of the Witwatersrand and Harvard University. He has over 35 years’ experience in the life insurance industry and was CEO of AA Life Assurance Association (South Africa) as well as co-founder and CEO of Clientele Life Assurance Company (South Africa), Clientele Financial Services (USA), Clientele Insurance Services (Australia) and 4Life Direct International where he acts in an advisory capacity. He is considered an expert in the field of direct marketing of insurance products and services and has consulted to a number of global companies in this field.

Francois has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has served as a member of the Board of Clientele Life South Africa. He was CEO of the IFA Division of Clientele Life, the largest direct selling business in South Africa. He joined 4Life Direct in 2010 and held the position of Managing Director of 4Life Direct Poland until 2014. He is currently the Sales Director for the 4Life Direct Group, as well as Chairman of 4Life Direct Poland.

After studying a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Erica began her career in sales and marketing at Old Mutual in Cape Town, South Africa. Erica has since gained a wealth of experience in financial services in local and global companies. She is currently Marketing Director at 4Life Direct International.

Christelle started her career in customer care in 1995 when she headed up Clientele Life’s Claims & Underwriting team and took over the role of Senior Contact Centre Manager in 2001. Throughout her career she has been exposed to customer service and managing workforces to ensure maximum satisfaction for all involved. Christelle has received several accolades related to contact center operations and customer care throughout the years. She has been certified as a Contact Center Strategic Leader by the Call Center Industry Advisory Council and she uses her knowledge and experience to lead a successful team in her capacity as Operations Director at 4Life Direct International. Christelle supports the contact centre industry both locally and internationally through her involvement with the Contact Centre Management Group of South Africa and ContactCenterWorld.com.

Lukasz is a graduate of Economics at Warsaw University. Having joined 4Life Direct Poland in 2009 he gained a wealth of experience working in various departments and currently holds the position of Business Development Director for 4Life Direct International.

Jean-Pierre is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), having majored in finance at the University of Cape Town and obtaining post grad honours in accounting through the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. After completing his articles with Ernst and Young in Cape Town, South Africa, Jean-Pierre moved to London where he spent over 5 years in investment banking as part of the finance team for the European Oil Desk at Morgan Stanley. Jean-Pierre joined 4Life Direct International in 2013 as Finance Manager to head up the finance department and since December 2013 holds the position of Finance Director for 4Life Direct International.

Jonathan joined 4Life Direct International as General Counsel in November 2015 and is responsible for all legal, compliance and regulatory matters across the Group. Jonathan holds a bachelor of laws and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, as well as in the Republic of Ireland. Prior to joining 4Life Direct, Jonathan worked for the international law firm DAC Beachcroft for over seven years and acted on behalf of multinational insurers and intermediaries, government bodies and construction firms.

With many years of experience in both Piraeus and ATE Bank, Vaios is an outstanding management professional with extensive experience with managing both teams and customers. His proven track record in delivering exceptional results through branch business development, client management, and strategic planning, show why he was the obvious choice as 4LifeDirect Branch Manager for Greece. Vaios is passionate about working with the best people and offering customers the best service and looks to establish lasting relationships with partners and clients alike.

Josef joined 4Life Direct as the Czech Branch Manager at the beginning of 2017. He came into the role with more than twenty years of management experience in the financial services market. Throughout his career he led successful sales teams and achieved significant results in the development of his teams. During his career he also gained significant experience in marketing and project management.

With the opening of the Slovakian branch in 2014, Simona joined 4Life Direct to head up Operations. She came into the role with six years of experience in the insurance market.
As the leading figure in the Slovakian branch she took on the challenge of establishing it as a successful business.
Having overseen all areas of the business, being the driving force behind its growth, she was appointed Branch Manager at the beginning of 2017.

Anett is a graduate of Economics from Corvinus University Budapest. With over 12 years of insurance experience, she has been active in selling, product development, internal audit and management of different departments. When she joined 4Life Direct Hungary in 2012, her area of focus was Operations and since 2016 she heads up the Hungarian branch. In 2016, she has been qualified as a Call Center Strategic Leader by International Customer Management Institute.

Katarzyna has over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry. She graduated from the University of Insurance and Banking. Her career in the industry began in Amplico Life SA. In 2010, she joined the team as 4Life Direct Operations Director, and currently holds the position of Director of 4Life Direct in Poland. Privately Katarzyna is the proud mother of two wonderful daughters.
